Clothing Security Tags EAS System Security Alarm Retail Anti Theft EAS Hard Tag
EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance), also known as Electronic Article Surveillance (Electronic Article Surveillance) system, is one of the commodity security measures widely used in the large-scale retail industry. The application field has also expanded to various industries such as department stores, supermarkets, and books, especially in large supermarkets (warehousing), which has been fully developed.

EAS system mainly consists of three parts: detector (Sensor), decoder (Deactivator) and electronic label (Electronic Label and Tag). Electronic labels are divided into soft labels and hard labels. Soft labels have lower cost and are directly attached to "hard" commodities. Soft labels cannot be reused; hard labels have higher one-time costs than soft labels, but can be reused. Hard labels must be equipped with a special nail remover, which is mostly used for soft and easy-to-penetrate items such as clothing. The decoders are mostly non-contact devices with a certain decoding height. When the cashier is cashing out or bagging, the electronic tag can be decoded without touching the degaussing area. There is also a device that combines a decoder and a laser barcode scanner, so that the collection and decoding of goods can be completed at one time, which is convenient for the cashier's work. This method must cooperate with the laser barcode supplier to exclude the two. Mutual interference, improve decoding sensitivity. When undecoded goods are taken out of the mall, when they pass through the detector device (mostly in the form of a door), an alarm will be triggered, thereby reminding cashiers, customers and mall security personnel to deal with them in time.

There may be two situations in the EAS system alarm, one is that the customer's bag contains things with magnetic strips brought in from the outside, and the other is that there are commodities that have not been demagnetized in the supermarket.

The working principle of EAS: A detector is set at the exit or cashier passage of the supermarket. The detector includes a transmitter and a receiver. When the transmitter sends a signal at a specific frequency, the receiver receives the signal and generates a monitoring area. . When an EAS tag that has not been processed by the cashier passes through the detection area, it can cause interference, and the receiver detects this interference and triggers an audible alarm.
